Nature amazes me and has the ability to captivate and hold my attention for long periods of time, especially when all is quiet and I have the opportunity to zoom in and just enjoy. Flowers in particular consistof the most interesting and intricate details, heavenly colors and scents and most everything that I could ask for when considering a subject for my art work.The process of observing and drawing flowers intoxicates me and puts me into a state of Nirvana, which helps me to cope with the otherwise hectic nature of everyday life.
Like the ever changing patterns of the kaleidoscope,
nature changes. It unfolds and the moment is gone.
